2022 – 2023

This is the year I started to build my family and was hit with the realities of motherhood, my mind was bursting with ideas of paintings but with little time to put the thoughts into action. There was a growing tension inside me. I started my dragon painting not long after giving birth to my first child, I remember having this furious need to protect her. I thought this was the natural motherly instincts you were magically suppose to gain when you become a mother but now looking back I’m starting to question whether it was just self doubt. I simply lacked the drive to complete the dragon.

2024 – 2025
